Officially, Ethan Galaal doesn’t exist.
Very few people can do what he does and do it well. Maybe a handful in the entire world.
As the DIA’s most valuable undercover operative, his missions span multiple roles that blur the lines between case officer, private investigator, kidnapper and assassin.
His specialty is that frothing cesspit of war and tyranny known as the Middle East. He has been sent to gather intel on the latest threat in the region: the Islamic State. Posing as a Saudi Arabian jihadist, he gains entry into the brutal regime, but it will take all his cunning and mental fortitude to survive. One mistake, one slip of the tongue, and he is as good as dead.
As he descends deeper into the morally reprehensible heart of the Islamic State, surrounded by enemies and unable to leave, Ethan wonders if the operation was a mistake.
When he meets the beautiful yet mysterious Alzena, the repressed neighbor of one of his targets, Ethan must decide if he will risk everything to get her out.
And he thought the mission was difficult before…
Is ‘Clandestine’ available on any e-reader other than Kindle? I have an IPad and after reading the sample I tried to purchase it but received a message stating that it was no longer available. I downloaded the Kindle app for the iPad but could not figure out how to buy your book.
Hello Jerry.. you can definitely read kindle books on iPad, I used to do it before getting a Kindle Fire.
To buy the book, you have to visit the Amazon page for Clandestine, and click the buy link. It will be sent to the Kindle application on your iPad afterwards.

good book good read of interesting plots , Thanks for your imagination and world affairs .
My only comment about this excellent book is that, for me, it was not enough! Info about Galal would be appreciated! One jumps in to his situation, in both books by Mr. Hooke that i have read, i am left wanting to know: Who is this guy? Why is he here? Where did the lady boss come from?
WHAT have i missed? Did all these things get explained somewhere & i missed it? Too bad because Mr. Hooke is a phenomenal writer & i’ve set out to read all he’s written! More, please!
Not bad. A fast reading novel. I’ve enjoyed it.

I have read the first two books Clandestine and A Cold Day in Mosul which I would rate both as 5 Stars. I recently purchased Terminal Phase and right now I am reading The Forever Gate Series Books 1-5 (currently on Book 1). Isaac Hooke’s books have all been fast paced with interesting characters and great plots. For anyone on the fence as to whether or not to give this author a try, all I can say is do yourself a favor and get Clandestine and enjoy the ride because when you finish that first book you’ll want to jump right into A Cold Day in Mosul and then the next one!
Have been reading and creating mind movies thanks to Isaac Hooke for a few decades now and he always captures me. One of few authors whom I won’t put down once opening the front cover. His knowledge of military tactics and his ability to draw me in to the action is excellent. The melding of man/women with machine and AI is intriguing and completely acceptable. Well done Isaac!
